Math:  Students took an oral mult fact quiz, then graded lessons 6-1 and 6-2 and went over the Chapter 5 FA from last week.  We then covered lesson 6-3.  Have the homework done for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over lesson 7-1.  We then went over lesson 7-2.  Complete the homework for tomorrow.

Science:  Students learned about the endocrine system via notes, a coloring sheet, and video.  Body Systems quiz Thursday.  Students have a study guide/practice test.

English:  Students presented their cliques today. We learned about the 1960s and S.E. Hinton in preparation for our Outsiders unit. No homework!

Geography:  Students continued on Asia notes today.  Asia test will be April 10th.  No homework.

Welcome to the Team 7-4 Daily Blog

Math:  Students took an oral mult fact quiz, then covered lessons 6-1 and 6-2.  Have the homework from both lessons done for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:   Students jumped into chapter 7 with lesson 7-1.  We worked through the homework together.  Ask your student if he/she finished.

Science:  Students learned about the excretory system via notes and video.  Body Systems quiz Thursday.  Students have a study guide/practice test.

English:  Students learned about cliques and did a small group activity. Students will present tomorrow. No homework.

Honors English:  Students turned in their word cards, and we learned about cliques. Students did a small group activity, and they will present tomorrow. No homework.

Geography:  Students started on Asia notes today.  Asia test will be April 10th.  No homework.

Math:  Students went over lesson 5-4, did a quick review and then took the Chapter 5 Formative Assessment.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students had class.  No homework.

Science: Students took the quiz over bones and muscles and their locations.  No homework.

English:  Students turned in their 6 Word Memoirs. We wrote a response to "Your Phone Could Ruin Your Life" in their composition notebooks. If they didn't get done, then they need to finish for when we get back from spring break. Please read your AR book!

Honors English: Students worked on their word cards for WordMasters. These are due when they get back from spring break.

Geography:  Students had an opportunity for 8 extra credit points today in class.  Homework:  Maps if they ARE NOT finished.  Have a GREAT spring break!

Math:  Students did a quick review of 5-2 and 5-3 and then went over aspects of sequences from lesson 5-4.  Complete the homework for tomorrow.  We will have the Chapter 5 Formative Assessment TOMORROW.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took the  Chapter 6 Formative Assessment today.  No homework.

Science: Students reviewed for tomorrow's quiz.  Know 10 bones and 5 muscles and their locations for Friday's (tomorrow) quiz.

English:  Students read an article in Scholastic Scope called "Your Phone Could Ruin Your Life." Students have their 6 Word Memoir due tomorrow.

Honors English: Students received their WordMasters words. 6 Word Memoirs are due on Friday. Word Cards are due when we get back from spring break.

Geography:  Students had 10 minutes to work on maps and then we broke into groups for map reflection.  Maps are worth 50 points- due today.  Homework: Maps if they did not get finished.

Math:  Students went over the packet and lesson 5-1.  We then went over concepts from lessons 5-2 and 5-3.  We will have the Chapter 5 Formative Assessment FRIDAY.

Pre-Algebra:   We graded the  RTGO? problems and then went over lessons 6-5 and 6-6.  We will have the Chapter 6 Formative Assessment THURSDAY.

Science: Students learned about the structure of bone.  Know 10 bones and 5 muscles and their locations for Friday's quiz.

English:  Students took a short quiz over Latin and Greek root words. Students worked on their 6 Word Memoir. This is the last work day. They are due on Friday.

Geography:  Students continued working on their Political and Physical maps of Asia.  Due Thursday.  Homework: Maps if they did not get finished.

Math:  Students had a packet to work on reviewing concepts from Chapter 5.  It is due tomorrow.  We will have the Chapter 5 Formative Assessment FRIDAY.

Pre-Algebra:   We worked on RTGO? problems on pages 300: 1 - 25 and 316: 1 - 7.  It is due tomorrow.  We will have the Chapter 6 Formative Assessment THURSDAY.

Science: Students learned the names and locations of 16 muscles.  Know 5 muscles for Friday's quiz.

English:  Students continued to work on their 6 Word Memoir Project.  No homework.

Geography:  Students continued working on their Political and Physical maps of Asia.  Due Thursday.

Math:  Students went over the Quiz from last week and then talked about 5-1 and graphing on the coordinate plane.  For homework, lesson 5-1:  1-24, 29-35.   We will have a formative assessment over Chapter 6 on Thursday.

Pre-Algebra:   We graded lesson 6-4 and moved on to 6-5.  Complete the homework for tomorrow.  We will have a formative assessment over Chapter 6 on Thursday.

Science: Students learned the scientific names and locations of their bones.  Know 10 bone names and their locations by Friday.  Quiz Friday.

English:  Today we learned about memoirs and started our 6 Word Memoirs.

Geography:  Students started on Asia today with "What do you know game!" and a political map.  No homework.

Math:  Students were made aware of their current 4th term grades.  We then did an activity in which kids dropped toothpicks onto a piece of paper and, through a simple formula came up with the number Pi (3.141592653...) in celebration Pi Day tomorrow (3-14-15 at 9:26.53).  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the Chapter 5 test.  We then jumped into Chapter 6 with lesson 6-1.  Complete the homework for tomorrow.

English:  Today we read an article in Scholastic Scope called "Shattered Lives". We wrapped up their vocabulary in their composition notebooks. We started a summary activity and there is no homework this weekend. I'm doing a composition notebook check on Tuesday. Students need to be caught up.

Math:  Students reviewed for the assessment over lessons 4-5 - 4-7.  The test is tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:   Students continued reviewing problems from the Chapter Study Guide at the end of chapter 5.  The test will be tomorrow.

Science: Students compared their reaction speed with three different stimuli (visual, auditory, and tactile).  No homework.

English:  Today we read an article in Scholastic Scope called "Shattered Lives". Students are working on their vocabulary in their composition notebooks. We'll have about 15 minutes tomorrow to finish that up. AR goals are due today by 4pm! I'm doing a composition notebook check on Monday. Students need to be caught up.
