7th Period English:  Students watched The Giver.

Geography:   Today we finished the movie Remember the Titans. It is about segregation in the US and is relatable to Apartheid in South Africa. Extra credit was given in class that follows the movie. It is due TODAY by the end of their class periods. It is not mandatory.

Science:  Students finished their Spongebob Genetics problems. This assignment needs to be turned in no later than tomorrow (Thursday) 4 pm. There will be a Genetics Test Thursday, December 20th. Study materials can be found on Google Classroom. Study!

English:  Students reviewed with a Kahoot and possibly catch phrase. Please turn in your paper on google classroom.

They will use this on the test. Textbook atlas is on Google Classroom), and reviewed for the Africa test. Study tonight using your notes or on Quizlet- Google Classroom!

Science:  Students finished practicing filling out Punnett squares and answering some questions about the Punnett square results. We started working on our Dragon Genetics project. No homework.

Pre-Algebra:    Students went over the Assessment from Monday and began talking about the project "If I Won $1.5 Billion".  No homework.

Science:  Students were given time to finish their animation project or fill out a paper study guide in class. Study materials can be found on Google Classroom. STUDY! The test over the cell cycle is tomorrow.

English:  Students learned how to create a works cited page. The Attribution/Quotes worksheets are due today.  Research guides are due today. If your student didn't get these done, they need to turn them in tomorrow.  AR is due on December 17th.

7th Period English:  Students took a quiz over chapters 11 - 15 today. Students need to read Ch. 16 and 17 as homework. Giver #1 project is due Friday, December 7th. "L" is due on Friday as well.  AR is due on December 17th.

Science:  Students played Kahoot in order to review for Friday's test over the Cell Cycle. Study materials can be found on Google Classroom. STUDY!

English:  Students worked on two lessons from my.hrw.com over attribution and quoting.  Students have a worksheet to complete.  The Attribution/Quotes worksheets will be checked on Thursday.  Research guides are due Thursday.  AR is due on December 17th.

7th Period English:  Students read chapters 13, 14 and 15.  There will be a quiz over chapters 11 - 15 on Thursday. Giver #1 project is due Friday, December 7th. "L" is due on Friday as well.  AR is due on December 17th.

Geography:   Today we continued on the activity that compared their daily life to daily life of a school aged child in Africa. We completed this activity in class and then worked in groups sharing information. We had great discussions! The assignment is on Google Classroom if they need to work on it at home.

Science:  Students watched a video about reproduction and development. There will be a test over the Cell Cycle this Friday. Study materials can be found on Google Classroom.

English:  Students worked on the FastBridge screener. The society research guide is due today. The people research guide is tomorrow. AR is due on December 17th.

7th Period English:  Students worked on a FastBridge screener today. They also worked on their Giver #1 project. First project is due December 7th. AR is due on December 17th.

Geography:   Today we took a few more Africa notes. We then started on an activity that compared their daily life to daily life of a school aged child in Africa. They all had different interviews. This assignment is due tomorrow at the end of class. Student can work on it at home if they'd like, but we will have class time to work on it tomorrow. They need to be ready to share their findings in class tomorrow. The assignment is on Google Classroom (different African Interview) if they need to work on it at home.
