Math:   Students took an oral mult and then read Scholastic Math magazines for pleasure.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students continued in Module 5 with lesson 4.  Students may have homework.

Science:  Students completed lesson 1.1 which was the pre-unit assessment over Population and Resources.  No homework.

English:  Students took notes over the poem "Oranges." AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  Students took notes over the poem "Oranges." "U" is due today. AR is due March 3rd.

Geography:  Today we watched a documentary about the 33 Chilean miners that were trapped in a mine for 69 days. Students that weren't finished with their maps had this time to work on them. The South America map is due on Friday- 50pts and the test is set for March 5th (a study guide was handed out on 2/24)!

Math:   Students did a review Kahoot over lessons 12-15.  It and the Kahoot review over lessons 10 & 11 are on GoogleClassroom.  The assessment over lessons 10-15 will be this tomorrow, February 27th.  

Pre-Algebra:   Students moved into Module 5, lesson 2.  Students may have homework.

Science:  Students completed Lesson 4.3 in our Chemical Reactions unit, where they participated in a science seminar. There will be a test tomorrow over our Chemical Reactions unit. Students can use Lesson 2.4 (the mid-unit assessment) as a study guide. Study!

Math:   Students went over lessons 12 and 13.  No homework.  The assessment over lessons 10-15 will be next Thursday, February 27th.  

Pre-Algebra:   Students took a pop quiz over lessons 16 and 18 and worked on the M10 IXL to a score of 70.  Students may have homework.

Science:  Students completed Lesson 3.4 in our  Chemical Reactions unit, where students identified the other substance in Westfield's water and wrote up a letter to the town of Westfield explaining how they know.

English:  Students answered questions about their skit on google classroom. It is due on Monday, but they had enough time in class to finish it. AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  Students learned more about poetry terms and started reading "Dump." "T" is due today. AR is due March 3rd.


Geography:  Today we started on our South America map. Hungry Planet will be due on Friday for 50 points along with their Hungry Planet notes 50 points. Please make sure you turned in your Hungry Planet Textbook worksheet from last week!

Math:   Students went over the test and lesson 10.  We then watched a video dealing with misdirection.  No homework!

Pre-Algebra:   Students continued the pythagorean theorem and how to apply it and are to finish the worksheet and the following 7th grade IXLs to a score of 80:  Y1, Y2, Y3 and Y4.  

Science:  Students completed a Flextension lab in our Chemical Reactions unit, studying mixtures. We will need one more day to finish this lab.

English:  Students worked on their scenes and become familiar with their lines in preparation for their presentation. AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  Students read Frozen Dreams from the scope magazine. Complete the online questions. AR is due March 3rd.

Geography:  Today we continued to work on Hungry Planet families. We will have a Hungry Planet Vocabulary quiz on Wednesday. Students should take home their notes to study. Please make sure you turned in your Hungry Planet Textbook worksheet from last week!

Math:   Students had time to work on the following 7th grade IXLs to a score of 70.  Do them in this order:  W16, W17, W14 & W15.  Students also had time to work through the Lessons 10/11 vocabulary on Quizlet.  You can practice those anytime you want.   Finish all previous IXLs by this Wednesday, February 12 by 8 am!

Pre-Algebra:   Students worked on 7th grade IXLs:  M2,3,6,7,8,9,11,12 to a score of 80 by the beginning of class tomorrow.   There will be an assessment over lessons 7, 10 & 11 tomorrow. 

Science:  Students completed Lesson 2.4 in Chemical Reactions, which was the mid-unit assessment. There is an assignment (Writing to Westfield) on Google Classroom due Monday by 4 pm.

English:  Students watched the Tuck movie and wrote a compare/contrast response on google classroom. AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  Students worked on their skits. Performances start on Monday! "S" is due on Friday. AR is due March 3rd.

Geography:  Today we worked on a Hungry Planet country introduction using our textbooks. We will continue this on Monday. No homework.

Science:  Students completed Lesson 2.2 in Chemical Reactions. Students learned how chemical reactions happen with atom/atom groups rearranging. Turn in your argument from lesson 1.6 (found on Google Classroom) if you haven't already done so.

English:  Students presented their Tuck projects, and we started the movie. AR is due March 3rd.

7th Period English:  Students worked on their skits. "S" is due on Friday. AR is due March 3rd.
