Math:  Students reviewed for the FA over lessons 8-9 - 8-11.   Students received THE BIG MATH packet.  It will be due Monday.

Pre-Algebra:    We went over lesson lesson 8-4, complete the homework for tomorrow.    Students received THE BIG MATH packet.  It will be due Monday.

Science:  Students sorted and paired up pictures into the three types of symbiotic relationships (mutualism, commensalism, parasitism).  Test Wednesday, May 6th.  A study guide has been handed out.

English: Students took a quiz over Ch 10-12 in The Outsiders. We reviewed for our test tomorrow. Please study for tomorrow's final test!!

Geography:  Students turned in their their Europe- War Packets today (WWI, WWII, & Cold War).  We then started discussing Europe.

Math:  Students had time to work on the famous mathematician project.   We will have a FA over lessons 8-9 - 8-11 tomorrow.   Students have a sheet to review for FA.

Pre-Algebra:    We worked on the Famous Mathematician project and potentially worked on lesson 8-4.

Science:  Students learned about the three types of symbiotic relationships (mutualism, commensalism, parasitism) via note-taking and video.  No homework.

English: Students read Ch 12 in The Outsiders. Vocabulary worksheet that is due on Thursday. They have a quiz on Thursday over Ch. 10-12. Students have a final test over the book and vocab on Friday.

Geography:  Students continued their Europe- War Packets today (WWI, WWII, & Cold War).  They will be due on Friday.

Math:  Students had time to work on the famous mathematician project.  Students are to have 8-11 done in the packet for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:    We went over the Famous Mathematician project and had time to work.  No homework.

Science:  Students finished analyzing their bird beak adaptations data.  Students also researched some examples of adaptations and recorded them in their science notebook.  No homework.

English: Students read Ch 11 in The Outsiders. They received a new vocabulary worksheet that is due on Thursday. They have a quiz on Thursday over Ch. 10-12. Students have a final test over the book and vocab on Friday.

Geography:  Students continued their Europe- War Packets today (WWI, WWII, & Cold War).  They will be due on Friday.

Math:  Students went over the FA 8B and then were introduced to the Famous Mathematicians project.  Kids drew a famous mathematician and started researching them.  They are to have the section 8-10 done in the packet.

Math:  Students took the FA over chapter 8B and filled out the Quadrilateral Flow Chart.  Kids also got the 8-9 - 8-11 packet.  They are to complete the 8-9 section for Monday.

All 7-4 students took the Ne SA - Math test in the afternoon.

Math:  Students finished going over the Ne SA nny practice test.  We then started going over the packet.  Finish all sections in your 8-4 - 8-8 packet by the beginning of class Thursday.  We will take an assessment over those lessons on Friday.

All 7-4 students took the Ne SA - Reading test in the morning today.  Everyone will take the Ne SA - Math test tomorrow afternoon.

Math:  Students turned in their 8-1 - 8-3 packet, did a quick review and then took a formative assessment over lessons 8-1 - 8-3.  Students had the rest of the period to work on their packet over lessons 8-5 & 8-6.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took the chapter 7 Formative Assessment.  No homework.

Science:  Students reviewed for tomorrow's test by playing Jeopardy. Test Friday (tomorrow) - a study guide has been handed out.

English: Today we reviewed for NeSA and students received a pink review sheet to complete. It is due on Monday. 

Geography:  Students continued on their "Family Vacation" today.  They travel around the world using latitude and longitude figuring exchange rates.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students reviewed Chapter 7.    We will take the chapter 7 Formative Assessment on Thursday.

Science:  Students finished graphing and analyzing the Kaibab deer population to study to concept of carrying capacity. Test Friday - a study guide has been handed out.

English: Today we took a quiz over Ch 5 and 6 and had a Lit. Circle. Some classes received a study guide for Ch. 7-9 to work on for the next few chapters. No homework!

Geography:  Students started on their "Family Vacation" today.  They travel around the world figuring exchange rates.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students graded 7-7 and and went over 7-8.  Students should have a little homework.  We will take the chapter 7 Formative Assessment on Thursday.

Science:  Students graphed the Kaibab deer population to study to concept of carrying capacity. Test Friday - a study guide has been handed out.

English:  Students read Ch 6 today and we worked on their vocabulary worksheet. Students have a quiz over Ch. 5 and 6 and possibly some vocabulary tomorrow. Please study and work on the back of your vocabulary paper.

Geography:  Students read through an article about how exchange rates work and answered some questions.  They also dabbled with figuring different exchange rates for different countries!  Some students may have a little homework to finish up.

Math:  Students turned in the vocab activities and took the spelling quiz.  Students then started on a Chapter 8 packet.  Finish the first two sections.

Pre-Algebra:   Students turned in the vocab activities and took the spelling quiz.  We then jumped into 7-6 and 7-7.

Science:  Students learned the meaning of some ecology vocabulary and took notes in their science notebook. They also watched a video about food chains and food webs. Test next Friday - a study guide was handed out today.

English:  Today students turned in their vocabulary worksheet and took a quiz over Ch. 3 & 4 in The Outsiders. No homework!

Geography:  Students took a test today over Asia!  No homework and enjoy the weekend!

Math:  Students went over 6-3, discussed the newest multiplication fact quiz, which is called THE GRANDE SOFT TACO, and then took a practice quiz.  We then handed out and discuss the Term 3 Vocabulary Activities which will be due FRIDAY, APRIL 10th.
