Welcome to the Team 7-4 Daily Blog
Thursday,  March 31, 2016

Math:  Students went over 6-3/6-4 and took a Plicker Quiz to check for understanding.  Students then also learned what to do for the Term 3 Vocabulary Activities.  They are due by next Wednesday.  For homework, do 1 - 9 from lesson 6-5.

Pre-Algebra:   Students continued reviewing for the Chapter 7 formative assessment, which is tomorrow.  See Mr. Sanny if you were gone.

Science:  Students learned about some hormones and their effect on the body.  No homework.

English:  Students worked on typing their TDA. They have time to type Friday. TDAs are due on Tuesday.  AR is due on May 12th. 

7th Period English:  Students learned new 50 Words. TDA revisions are due on Friday. AR is due on May 12th. 

Geography:    Today students continued on their Asia notes.  They were handed out an Asia textbook worksheet the week before spring break- due April 8th.  The Asia Test will be April 8th!

Math:  Students turned in 6-2, took a plicker quiz over 6-1 and 6-2 and then covered 6-3 and 6-4.  For homework:  6-3:  11-19,  6-4:  9, 10-22 evens and 27-34.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over 7-8.   They then had time to work on Chapter 7 Study Guide Reivew.  See Mr. Sanny if you were gone.

Science:  Students learned about their endocrine system and colored a diagram showing the location of their glands.  No homework.

English:  Students worked on typing their TDA. They have time to type Thursday and Friday. TDAs are due on Tuesday.  AR is due on May 12th.

Math:  Students took a mult fact quiz, went over 6-1 and 6-2.  Students need to do the homework from 6-2.

Pre-Algebra:   Students graded the RTGOs.   They then had time to work on 6-8 homework.

Science:  Students learned about their excretory system and took some notes.

English:  Students worked on their outlines for their TDA.  AR is due on May 12th. 

7th Period English:  Students worked on a text-evidence worksheet and revised their TDA essay. AR is due on May 12th. 

Geography:    Today students started their Asia notes.  They were handed out an Asia textbook worksheet the week before spring break- due April 8th.  The Asia Test will be April 8th!

Math:  Students did a quick review and then kids took the FA over lessons 5-1, 5-2 and 5-3.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students graded  lesson 7-7.   They then had time to work on the ready to go on problems on pages 358 and 376.

Science:  Students took the test over bone and muscle naming.  Study!

English:  Students did a some more text-evidence practice in class. Students' Snake Text-structure and cause/effect worksheets was due on Friday.  AR is due on May 12th. 

7th Period English:  Students took that the 50 words test today. Afterwards, they worked on a text-evidence worksheet. The Text-Dependent Analysis is due today. The 50 words test is on Friday. AR is due on May 12th. 

Geography:    Today students should have finished up their political and physical map of Asia.  It is due today at 4:00.  It's homework if they did not get it finished.  They should have checked out a textbook with me.  Ask your student if they finished it up!

Math:  Students went over lesson 5-2.  We then went over 5-3, complete the problems for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over  lesson 7-6.   We then went over 7-7.  Complete the homework for tomorrow.

Science:  Students practiced naming their bones and muscles.  There will be a test tomorrow (Friday, March 18th) over bone and muscle naming.  Study!

English:  Students did a some more text-evidence practice in class. Students' Snake Text-structure and cause/effect worksheets are due on Friday.  AR is due on May 12th. 

7th Period English:  Students graded their 50 words worksheet #3 in class. Students read "The Snake That is Eating Florida" and started a text-evidence worksheet. The Text-Dependent Analysis is due on Friday. The 50 words test is on Friday. AR is due on May 12th.

Science:  Students learned the names of their major muscles.  There will be a test this Friday, March 18th, over bone and muscle naming.  Continue studying!

English:  Students did a some more text-evidence practice in class. Students' Snake Text-structure and cause/effect worksheets are due on Friday.  AR is due on May 12th.

Math:  Students went over Pi Day Results and then talked about lesson 5-1.  For tomorrow, do problems 1 - 24, 29-35, 41 and 42.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over  lesson 7-5.   Complete the homework for tomorrow.

Science:  Students finished learning the names of their bones.  There will be a test this Friday, March 18th, over bone and muscle naming.  Start studying!

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the AYR? and then covered lesson 7-1.  Complete the homework for tomorrow.

Science:  Students observed a sheep brain and filled out their observations in their science notebook.  A study guide has been handed out.  A test over the nervous system will be given Friday, March 11th. 

English:  See Mrs. D. when you get back.

Math:  Students looked at FA 4B and then worked on converting customary measurements from Lesson 4-5.  Complete problems 10-18, 28, 29 and 37.

Pre-Algebra:   Students had time to work on the AYR? at the beginning of chapter 7.

Math:  Students took the formative assessment over lessons 4-8, 4-9 and 4-10.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the  chapter 6 test.  No homework.

Math:  Students went over lesson 4-10.  Complete the worksheet and problems 4, 8, 13 and 15 from 4-10 for tomorrow.  A formative assessment over lessons 4-8, 4-9 and 4-10 will be TOMORROW.  It will be the final grade of the 3rd term.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took the  chapter 6 test.

Science:  Students tested their reaction time.  No homework.

English:  We took a Literary Elements quiz and worked on our compare/contrast. Our compare/contrast is due tomorrow. 

7th Period English:  We learned another round of vocab words from 50 Words. The compare/contrast is due tomorrow.

Geography:    Today students continued notes over South America.  The South America (S.A.) test will be Thursday, March 3rd.  The textbook worksheet will be due the day of the test for extra credit.  A study guide was handed out on Monday!  Homework tonight is to STUDY and work on the extra credit (they can check out a textbook to work on this at home too!).

English:  We reviewed for our Literary Elements test on Wednesday, and we worked on our compare/contrast that is due on Thursday. Please take your notes home to study! AR is due today!
