Math:   Students had the class time to work on IXL activities:  Grade 7, score of 60 - K1, K2, K3, K7 and M1.  Work on the 11 trick!

Pre-Algebra:    Students had the class time to work on IXL activities:  Grade 7, score of 70 - B1, B2, B3, B4 and B5.  Work on the 11 trick!

Science: Students completed lesson 4.1 for Unit 2 (Plate Motion). The Unit 2 test is planned for Friday October 4th. There is a Quizlet on Google Classroom to aid in studying. 

English:  Adverb notes on modifying adjectives and verbs. In class practice. Homework is a paper copy that is due at the beginning of class on Wednesday. AR is due October 15th.

Math:   Students took a mult fact quiz and reviewed the 11 trick.  There is a link to a quizlet in you google classroom to practice the 11 trick. Students received information about the Module 1 vocabulary terms.  There will be a spelling quiz over those words on FRIDAY, October 4th.  We then were able to go over the Topic B Assessment.  No homework.

Math:   Students took a mult fact quiz and then jumped into lesson 8.  Students are to complete the exit ticket and then problems 1 - 4 from the lesson 8 problem set for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:    Students took a mult fact quiz and then practiced working with integers.  Students may have homework.

Science: Students completed Unit 2 (Plate Motion) Lesson 2.1. We learned that the mantle is a soft solid, not a hard solid.  Students who are not happy with their scientific argument score or their Unit 1 test score have until Wednesday Sept. 11th 4:00 p.m. to see Mrs. Eidem after school and work on improvements.  

English:  Students reviewed for their Nouns/Pronouns test tomorrow. Students have a study guide that they can use to study tonight. All missing and late work is due today by 4 PM. Otherwise, it will not be graded. AR is due October 15th.

7th Period English: Students reviewed for their Nouns/Pronouns test tomorrow. Students have a study guide that they can use to study tonight. All missing and late work is due today by 4 PM. Otherwise, it will not be graded. AR is due October 15th. "C" writing is due on Friday, 9/13.

Geography:  We answered questions using the elements of Parts of a Map by looking at maps. The test for this unit will be September 17th.

Math:   Students went over the assessment from Friday, handed back the BA projects and then went over lesson 7.  Students are to complete problems 1 - 4 from the lesson 7 problem set for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:    Students went over the assessment from Friday, handed back the BA projects and then practiced working with integers.

Science: Students completed Unit 2 (Plate Motion) Lesson 1.4. We learned that plate movement causes earthquakes, not the opposite.  Students who are not happy with their scientific argument score or their Unit 1 test score have until Wednesday Sept. 11th 4:00 p.m. to see Mrs. Eidem after school and work on improvements.

Math:   Students took the assessment over lessons 1 - 5.  No homework
Pre-Algebra:    Students took the assessment over adding integers. No homework.

We also completed Unit 2 Lesson 1.3 to learn that Earth's plate boundaries are sites of high earthquake activity.  Students who are not happy with their scientific argument score or their Unit 1 test score have until Wednesday Sept. 11th 4:00 p.m. to see Mrs. Eidem and work on improvements.

They may redo the assignment as many times to get a 100% until it is due (Monday morning at 8 AM). If students didn't do well on their TDA quiz, they may come in Friday during lunch to earn points back on their quiz. AR is due October 15th.
