Math:  Students finished discussing lesson 7-10, took an oral mult fact quiz and then stuffed their Student-Led Parent-Teacher Conference portfolio with math items.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the worksheet and discussed populations and samples, and then stuffed their Student-Led Parent-Teacher Conference portfolio with math items.  No homework.

Science: Students finished their lab report and received a study guide for next Friday's test.

English:  Today students took their final test over Tuck Everlasting. They turned in their study guides and vocab today. No homework!

Honors English: Today students took their final test over Tuck Everlasting. They turned in their study guides and vocab today. No homework!

Geography:  Today students worked on a North America worksheet.  It is homework if they didn't get it done in class.  The worksheet is due Monday.  Test over North America is February 10th.

Math:  Students turned in some of the homework and graded the RTGO?.  We then went over lessons 7-9 and 7-10.  Ask your student if they have homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the worksheets and then continued talking about data and statistics.  Ask your student if they have homework.

Science: Students made a model of respiratory system- discussed Boyle's Law.  No homework.

English:  Today students read the final chapters of Tuck Everlasting. Study guide (all questions) and vocab(Ch 16-21) is due on Friday.  Final test is on Friday. Study, study, study!

Honors English: Today students finished Tuck Everlasting. Study guide and vocabulary will be due on Friday.  Final test is on Friday. Study, study, study!

Geography:  Today we reviewed the ancient Mexican tribes- Mayan and Aztec by completing a study sheet.  We then completed some ancient Aztec and Mayan art.  North America maps were due on Monday.  Test over North America is February 10th.

Math:  Students worked on the RTGO? problems on page 404.  They also had 1 (potentially 2) more review worksheets to work on.  All will be due tomorrow, including the 7-7 and 7-8 problems.

Pre-Algebra:   Students started looking at data and statistics by working on some worksheets.  They are due tomorrow.

Math:  Students turned in 7-6, took a new type of multiplication fact quiz, went over the Term 2 Vocab Activities and then covered 7-7 and 7-8.  Complete the homework from both lessons for tomorrow.

Science: Students finished notes over the respiratory system.  We also watched a short video and took a practice test over the parts of the respiratory system.  No homework.

Math:  Due to many people being absent last week, we had another "ketchup and mustard" day. Students checked their grades and worked on anything they needed to get caught up on.  They should be bringing home an orange paper that has their current grade and if they had anything to work on.

Pre-Algebra:   Students handed in their Vocab Activities, took the spelling quiz, took a mult fact quiz and then looked at their grades on powerschool.

Science: Students took a test over the circulatory system.

English:  Today students took a quiz over Chapters 7-15. Students had a packet check and they turned in their vocab for Ch. 7-15. No homework!

Honors English: Today we practiced wordmasters words and we took a small quiz over Tuck Everlasting Ch. 7-15. Students need to have their Wordmasters Odd-Word-Out worksheet done for Monday.

Geography:  Today we continued on the North America Political and Physical maps.  Maps are due on Monday, January 26th.   Hungry Planet demographics worksheet and note packet are due Friday for 50 points.  Ask your student about their progress on Hungry Planet and North America Maps.

Math:  Students went over their Holiday Shopping Spree projects and then learned how to estimate adding and subtracting fractions/mixed numbers.  Complete the first line of homework problems for lesson 3-6 for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over their Holiday Shopping Spree projects and then jumped into lesson 4-1 dealing with exponents.  Complete the homework for tomorrow.

Science: Students worked on dissecting the internal organs of a frog.  Students tried to inflate the lungs and some groups removed the digestive tract and measured its length.

English:  Student revised their rough draft descriptive essay. They have 3 sentences and 4 words to do in their packet step 10.

Honors English: Students finished words on wordmasters and continued working on their word cards. Word cards are due on Monday.

Geography:  We read an article, "World on a Plate," and answered some discussion questions together as a class.  Students then worked on a red atlas worksheet introducing the 12 countries in the Hungry Planet Unit-- we will work on this worksheet tomorrow also.
