Math:   Students were introduced to a project where they get to spend $1.5 Billion.  It will be due next Wednesday.

Pre-Algebra:  Students were introduced to a project where they get to spend $1.5 Billion.  It will be due next Wednesday.

Science:  Students applied their knowledge of Punnett Squares and created a dragon.  Your current event is due this Friday - use Google Classroom for the form and find your current event on Newsela. 

English: Students learned about primary and secondary sources. No homework, but AR is due December 19th. :)

7th Period English: We had a literature circle, and students have Ch. 9-10 to read tonight. There is a quiz over Ch. 6-10 tomorrow. AR is due December 19th.

Geography:  Students worked on their Africa Maps for part of the class and then we started on Africa notes. The map will be due on Friday for 50 points.

Math:   Students went over 3-1 and jumped into 3-2.  Complete the homework from 3-2 for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:  Students finished up Chapter 12 and jumped into Chapter 4.  Complete Lesson 4-1 homework for tomorrow.

Science:  Students learned Punnett Square vocabulary.  No homework.  

English: Students learned about primary and secondary sources. No homework, but AR is due December 19th. :)

7th Period English: Students had a quiz over Ch. 1-5 today. We had a literature circle, and students have Ch. 6-8 to read tonight. AR is due December 19th.

Math:   Students went over the FA from last week and looked at how to estimate with decimals.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:  Students went over the FA from last week and looked at how to graph linear equations.  No homework.

Science:  Students learned genetics vocabulary.  No homework.  

English: Students learned about the characteristics of a research paper, and they chose their countries. No homework, but AR is due December 19th. :)

7th Period English: Students read Ch. 4-5. They have a quiz over Ch. 1-5 on Tuesday and "Let the Ceremonies Begin" is due on Tuesday. AR is due December 19th.

Geography:  Students started on the Africa unit by working on a political map of the country. The map will be due on Friday for 50 points. Ask your student one thing they learned about Africa today in class.

Math:   Students celebrated the Million Calorie Food Drive by watching an episode of Jimmy Neutron that focused on math.

Pre-Algebra:  Students celebrated the Million Calorie Food Drive by watching an episode of Jimmy Neutron that focused on math.

Science:  Students took the test over DNA!  

English: Students took a test over sentence structure today. No homework, but AR is due December 19th. :)

7th Period English: Students learned about The Giver projects. They have a "Create Your Utopia" activity that is due on Monday, and they need to read Ch. 1-3 for Monday. AR is due December 19th.

Geography:  Students caught up on current events from around world. No homework! Enjoy the break!

Pre-Algebra:  Students took the FA over Chapter 11.

Science:  Students extracted DNA from a strawberry.  Test over DNA tomorrow!  A study guide has been handed out and is also available on Google Classroom.  Study!!!

English: Students reviewed structure sentence. There is a test tomorrow. Study your study guide! AR is due December 19th.

7th Period English: Students learned about The Giver. They have a "Create Your Utopia" activity that is due on Monday. Reseach papers are due today. AR is due December 19th.

Geography:  Students complied all of the information from their note packet to a demographics sheet and answered analytical questions. There shouldn't be any homework.

Math:   We went over the RTGO? and then worked on IXL.  Under 7th grade, do G3, G10 and G13.  Complete to a score of 40.  If you have time, do G4, G11 and G14 to a score of 18.  The FA will be Tomorrow over lessons 3-6 - 3-10.

Pre-Algebra:  Students reviewed for the FA over chapter 11 which is tomorrow.  Students may have some problems to work on to review for the test.

Science:  Students learned how DNA is used to make protein.  Today they completed the activity we began on Friday.  A test over DNA is planned for this Wednesday, November 23rd.  A study guide has been handed out and is also available on Google Classroom.

English: Students received a study guide to work on. It is homework if they didn't get it done in class. AR is due December 19th.

7th Period English: Students started their research paper. Papers are due on Tuesday, November 22nd. AR is due December 19th.

Math:   We talked about the Food Drive, graded lesson 3-10 and then probably had time to work on the RTGO? on page 198:  problems 1 - 23.  The test will be Tuesday over lessons 3-6 - 3-10.

Pre-Algebra:  Students talked Food Drive and then discussed 11-4.  Complete the homework for tomorrow.

English: Students read an article in Scholastic Scope and did a short activity. AR is due December 19th.

7th Period English: Students learned about their research project. No homework. AR is due December 19th.

Geography:  Students compared demographics between a 1st, 2nd and 3rd world country using the CIA factbook. It is homework if they didn't get it finished. A study guide for the test was handed out Wednesdsay. The test for this unit is MONDAY!!!! Please encourage them to use the study guide and study this weekend!

English: Students reviewed capitalization and punctuation. They have a test tomorrow. Please study your study guide! AR is due December 19th.

7th Period English: Students reviewed sentence structure. They have a test tomorrow. Please study your study guide! AR is due December 19th.
