Math:  Students watched part of an episode of a tv show called Touch which dealt with math and patterns.

Pre-Algebra:      Students watched part of an episode of a tv show called Touch which dealt with math and patterns.

Science:  Students presented their Species Project and/or recorded facts during their peers' presentations.​

English: Students received their district descriptive essays and Outsiders projects, and we played English Bingo. 

Geography:  Students completed a mental map and worked on a country match game.  No homework.

Math:  Students watched the rest The Great Math Mystery which aired recently on PBS as well talked about the CEO of Disney and watched a part of the movie Stranger than Fiction that dealt with some math.

Science:  Students presented their Species Project and/or recorded facts during their peers' presentations.​

English: Students are presenting their projects today. Have a great weekend!

Geography:  Students went over the final test, cleaned out notebooks, and checked in textbooks.  Have a great weekend!

Math:  Students went over the numbers from the What do Measure activity and saw how close their were to Phi which equals 1.618.  We then watched The Great Math Mystery which aired recently on PBS.   No homework.

Math:  Students listened to a excerpt from The Da Vinci Code and learned about the number "phi" which equals 1.618.  No homework.

Science:  Students worked on their Species Project.  Today was the last workday during class.  Students will present their project Thursday or Friday.​


English: We are working on our Outsiders Project. Students' AR goal, Outsiders project, and the extra credit is due on Thursday, May 14th. You can do it!

Geography:  Students worked on some extra practice and were able to ask questions and seek help.  Final Test will be Thursday, May 14th.  Homework should be to study!

Science:  Students worked on their Species Project.  One more workday will be given.  Students will present their project Thursday or Friday.​

Geography:  Students wrapped up the Final Review Note packet and had some time to practice.  We will spend tomorrow practicing again.  Final Test will be Thursday, May 14th.  Homework should be to study!

Math:  Students took a mult fact quiz, went over the math MAP scores and then, in small groups, measured aspects of their body for an activity we will do tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:    Students took a mult fact quiz, went over the math MAP scores and then, in small groups, measured aspects of their body for an activity we will do tomorrow.

Science:  Students worked on their Species Project. Two more workdays will be given. Presentations will begin Thursday May 14th.

English: Students are working on their Outsiders Projects. They have time in class today, Tuesday, Wednesday, and possibly some time on Thursday. It's due at the end of class on Thursday and we might start presenting on Thursday. Extra credit and AR goals are due Thursday, May 14th. 

Geography:  Students started on the FINAL REVIEW today by completing a study-note packet.  Students were handed a half sheet study packet to work on throughout the week.  Final test will be May 14th.  Homework this week is to study.

Students took take the MAP math and language usage in the afternoon.  Classes will be altered slightly.  

Math:  Students went over how to find the area of a few shapes and then worked on a review sheet preparing for the MAP test.

Pre-Algebra:    Students took the Chaper 8 FA 8B and then worked on a review sheet preparing for the MAP test.

Science:  Students received directions and a scoring guide for the Species Project.  Three workdays will be given (Mon.-Wed.) and presentations will begin Thursday May 14th.

English: We finished The Outsiders, went over Outsiders tests and quizzes, and had a small writing activity. Students can work on the extra credit opportunity on google classroom. Extra credit and AR goals are due May 14th. 

Geography:  Students wrapped up the What I Eat unit.  Final test, May 14th.  No homework.

Students took the MAP reading assessment this morning and will take the MAP math and language usage tomorrow afternoon.  Classes will be altered slightly.
