Science -Monday and Tuesday we are doing circulatory system stations. These are activities designed to explain more about the circulatory system. If want to know your blood type, bring your permission slip back to science by Thursday.
Math - Students went over the questions students were assigned on Friday. We then went over converting measurements and assigned homework from lesson 5-8: problems 1 - 4 and 9 - 21.
English -- In class students reviewed details of chapters 7 and 8. They also completed the before reading questions for chapters 9 and 10. Finish reading chapter 9 and complete the as you read section for tomorrow. We will read chapter 10 out loud tomorrow in class. The study guide is due at the end of class tomorrow. Science - Today we prepared for conferences. Need to finish your animal adaptations project. Tuesday's class is in the computer lab 119, except for 9th period which will be in the Media Center.
Math - Students took an Oral Multiplication Fact Quiz and had a worksheet that they worked on in class. No homework.
English -- In class students went over details of chapters 1-4. If you didn't turn in chapter 1 & 2 study guide today, please turn it in before Wednesday -- you keep your zero on Wednesday. Chapters 3-4 study guide is due Tuesday.

Science - Today we did our consumer experiments. Monday's class is in 208.
Math - Students took the Week 3 Spelling Quiz and organized papers into portfolios in order to get ready for the Student Led Parent Teacher Conferences.
English -- If you didn't turn in chapter 1 & 2 study guide today, please turn it in before next Wednesday -- you keep your zero on Wednesday. Chapters 3-4 study guide is due Monday.
GEOGRAPHY - Discussed traditional, command and market economies. Learned the basic principles of supply and demand.

Math - Students took a mult fact quiz, went over dividing fractions and mixed numbers. For homework, do problems from lesson 5-6: 1 - 6, 8, 9, 12 - 15 and 24 - 28. We will take the KPS Assessment over this material tomorrow and we will have the week 3 spelling quiz on Friday.

Math - Students went over the week 3 spelling words, watched a powerpoint on multiplying fractions and mixed numbers and took a KPS Assessment. We will take another KPS assessment Wednesday over dividing fractions and mixed numbers. NO homework.
English -- Students began building background knowledge for our novel "Prairie Songs". Final copies of descriptive paragraphs were due today. Half of this quarter's points are due February 8th -- Friday!!

Math - Students took the Week 2 Spelling Quiz, watched a video and received a sheet with their current grades. NO homework.
English -- Students are typing their final copy. If they have started, they will have time to finish in class on Monday. If they are still writing/revising, they will need to type at home over the weekend. Final copies are due Monday. Half of this quarter's points are due February 8th.
