Science - Friday's class is in lab 113. Today did a blood typing activity ("Dracula's activity") If want to know your blood type, bring your permission slip back to science by Friday.

Math - Students took an oral mult fact quiz and then went over the NCLB math packet. Tomorrow we will take the NCLB KPS Assessment.

Science - Thursday's class is in lab 113. Wednesday we went over the circulatory system station activities. If want to know your blood type, bring your permission slip back to science by Friday.

Math - Students went over the homework and then received a worksheet that is very similar to the assessment that students will take Friday. Students had the entire period to work on the worksheet and we will go over it tomorrow.

English -- In class students took notes over important parts of chapters 9 and 10 and had AR time. Read your AR book tonight. Book points are due March 6th.

Math - Students graded the homework and then went over metric measurement. Students had time to work on a worksheet which will be due tomorrow.

English -- In class students listened to chapter 10, took a reading check quiz over chapters 9 and 10, and turned in their chapter 9 and 10 study guide. Read your AR book tonight. Book points are due March 6th.

Science -Monday and Tuesday we are doing circulatory system stations. These are activities designed to explain more about the circulatory system. If want to know your blood type, bring your permission slip back to science by Thursday.

Math - Students went over the questions students were assigned on Friday. We then went over converting measurements and assigned homework from lesson 5-8: problems 1 - 4 and 9 - 21.

English -- In class students reviewed details of chapters 7 and 8. They also completed the before reading questions for chapters 9 and 10. Finish reading chapter 9 and complete the as you read section for tomorrow. We will read chapter 10 out loud tomorrow in class. The study guide is due at the end of class tomorrow. There will also be a quiz over chapters 9 and 10 tomorrow. Book points are due March 6th.

GEOGRAPHY - Read Ps. 97 thru 100 and complete Technology "Shrinks" the World Packet. See me in the A.M.

Science -Introduced the circulatory system by doing notes online. Monday's class is in the Lab 113..

Math - Students turned in the homework from Wednesday and then had time to work on problems from page 216; 12 - 20 evens and page 217; 1 - 9 all.

English -- In class students wrote an essay describing their favorite classroom. We will edit and revise next week. Descriptive writings are piling up. Be sure you are on top of your work. Book points are due March 6th.

Science -Finished the frog dissection. Thursday meet in 208.

Math - Students turned in the homework and then were assigned to complete any 5 even and any 4 odd problems (out of 15) from lesson 4-7. Students had about 30 minutes to work on this in class with their groups.

English -- In class students listened to chapter 8 and turned in study guide 7-8. If you didn't turn in chapters 3-4 or 5-6 study guide, they need to be in by the 22nd. Descriptive writings are piling up. Be sure you are on top of your work.

Science - Started the frog dissection. Tuesday and Wednesday we will also be in lab 113, doing the frog dissection.
Math - Students took an oral multiplication fact quiz and then reviewed solving equations. Complete the following problems for tomorrow: page 121: 29 - 34, page 202: 18 - 21, page 125: 30 - 35 and page 223: 22 - 25 .

English -- In class students discussed chapters 5 and 6. If you didn't turn in chapters 3-4 study guide, it needs to be in by the 22nd. Chapters 5-6 study guide was collected today. It also needs to be in by Friday. Your final copy for your descriptive writing about yourself was also collected today. A quiz over chapters 1-6 is tomorrow. Review, review, review.

Science - Today we finished typing up the results to our gum experiments, including a graph of the results. Monday's class is in lab 113.

Math - Students took the week 4 spelling quiz and went to the computer lab to either work on assessments, finish worksheets or learned on math websites.

English -- In class students continued writing a descriptive paragraph about themselves. Revisions and a final copy are due Monday. If you didn't turn in chapters 3-4 study guide today, it needs to be in by the 22nd. Chapters 5-6 study guide is due Monday.

Science - Last class day to work on the adaptation evaluations. Thursday's class is in lab 113. Science current event is due Thursday.

Math - Students took a mult fact quiz, went over dividing fractions and mixed numbers. For homework, do problems from lesson 5-6: 1 - 6, 8, 9, 12 - 15 and 24 - 28. We will take the KPS Assessment over this material tomorrow and we will have the week 3 spelling quiz on Friday.

English -- Read first chapter of "Prarie Songs." Half of this quarter's points are due February 8th -- Friday!!

Math - Students took the Week 2 Spelling Quiz, watched a video and received a sheet with their current grades. NO homework.

English -- Students are typing their final copy. If they have started, they will have time to finish in class on Monday. If they are still writing/revising, they will need to type at home over the weekend. Final copies are due Monday. Half of this quarter's points are due February 8th.
