Math:   Mr. Sanny went over how to do some more of the math for the Birth Announcement Project.  It will be due Thursday, August 27th at the beginning of class.  Start collecting information about your birth.  We then continued with Lesson 1 in Module 1. No homework from the book.

Science:  Geology on Mars 1.1 finished.  We finished our interactive notebook for this section. Complete the Rocky Planets investigation on Google Classroom and turn it in.
There is homework reading on Amplify in tab 5 of 1.1 for Geology On Mars.  It is the second activity.  Answer the questions in your interactive notebook.  Notebooks will be graded each week.  Video of class on Canvas.

English:  Students learned about memoirs and started brainstorming for their 6 Word Memoir. Students have an Expectations Contract that needs to be signed and turned in by Friday, August 21st.

Geography:  Today we started our new unit called Continents and Oceans. Students took notes and participated in discussion. Self Flags are due on Friday! Check out Google Classroom for any missed work or assignments!

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
