Math:  Students took a mult fact quiz and then went over previous MAP scores.  No homework.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took a mult fact quiz and then went over previous MAP scores.  No homework.

Science:  Students completed a graphic organizer about Disease.  No homework. 

English: Students looked at different descriptive essay examples. No homework.

7th Period English: Students took a quiz over The Giver Ch 6-11. Students need to read Ch 12-13 for homework and prepare for their Lit Circle over Ch. 6-11 tomorrow. 

Geography:   Today we started a new unit- Africa!  No homework!

Math:  Students need to bring in Ads from Stores (not grocery ads).  We went over the homework from 3-6.  We then watched some videos showing how to add and subtract fractions.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took the FA over chapter 11.

Science:  Students took an open-note test over Genetics.  

English: Students presented their menus today. Menus are due in Google Classroom. No homework! Enjoy Thanksgiving :)

7th Period English: We reviewed sentence structure today. Students did some in-class assignments over complex sentences. They also received a study guide for their test on Tuesday. 

Geography:   Today students worked on compiling statistics from the Material World countries on a Country Statistics worksheet.  Students should have no homework, but ask your student if they were able to get it done in class!  Have a great break!

Math:  Students were asked to bring in Ads from Stores (not grocery ads).  They turned in the worksheet the received on Friday and then went over 3-6.  Have the first line of the homework done for tomorrow.

Pre-Algebra:   Students were asked to bring in Ads from Stores (not grocery ads).  They graded the homework from 11-4 and then jumped into 12-1.  Have the homework done for tomorrow.

Science:  Students applied their knowledge of genetics and Punnett squares and completed a Spongebob worksheet.  Students will take an open-note test tomorrow over Punnett squares/Genetics.  
English: Students worked on their menus in class. Menus are due on Tuesday.

7th Period English: We reviewed sentence structure today. Students did some in-class assignments over complex sentences. They also received a study guide for their test on Tuesday. 

Geography:   Today students continued on their Material World notes.  No homework!

Math:  Students wrapped up the MCFD, possibly graded the Ready to Go On and they did have a worksheet to complete for Monday.

Pre-Algebra:   Students wrapped up the MCFD and are to finish the homework from 11-4 for Monday.

Science:  Students applied their knowledge of Punnett squares and created a baby dragon.  No homework.  

English: Students worked on their menus in class. Menus are due on Tuesday, and they have time on Monday to work on the menus. 


7th Period English: We reviewed sentence structure today. Students did some in-class assignments over complex sentences. They also received a study guide for their test on Tuesday. 

Geography:   Today students continued on their Material World notes.  No homework!

Math:  Students discussed the Million Calorie Food Drive and went over the problems from lesson 2-11.  Complete the RTGO? problems on page 130.  LAST DAY OF MCFD.  Don't forget to BRING IN FOOD ITEMS!!

Pre-Algebra:   Students discussed the MCFD.  We might have started lesson 11-4, but probably no homework, but BRING FOOD ITEMS!!

Science:  Students applied their knowledge of Punnett squares and "mated" their dragons to create a baby dragon.  No homework.  

English: Students reviewed their sentence structure test. Students were introduced to their Menu project. Menus are due on Tuesday. They will have time in class to work on them.


7th Period English: We reviewed sentence structure today. Students did some in-class assignments over complex sentences. They also received a study guide for their test on Tuesday.

Pre-Algebra:   Students took the AMC test.  No homework, but BRING FOOD ITEMS!!

Science:  Students learned some Punnett square vocabulary.  No homework.  

English: Students played Kahoot to review for our sentence structure test. Our sentence structure test is on Wednesday. All sentence structure worksheets are due on Wednesday. Please study!


7th Period English: We reviewed sentence structure today. Students did some in-class assignments over complex sentences. They also received a study guide for their test on Tuesday. 

Geography:   Today students finished up an open note test over Religion, Government, and Economy.  Some students may have a Material World country introduction worksheet as homework.  A link for a World Map is on their Google classroom -or- feel free to search for your own!

Pre-Algebra:   Students went over the homework from 11-3 and then talked about the Million Calorie Food Drive.  We then started 11-4.  No homework, but BRING FOOD ITEMS!!

Science:  Students learned definitions and examples of some Genetics Vocabulary.  No homework.  

English: We worked on writing in different sentence structures. Students were given a study guide and a short worksheet. Our sentence structure test is on Wednesday. All sentence structure worksheets are due on Wednesday. Please study!

Pre-Algebra:   Students talked about the Million Calorie Food Drive, which begins Monday.  We then  went over lesson 11-3.  Complete the problems on the homework sheet.

Science:  Students learned some examples of GMOs (genetically modified organisms).  No homework.  

English: We learned about complex sentences today. There's a short worksheet for homework. Our sentence structure test should be on Wednesday.

Science:  Students played Space Race to review for tomorrow's test.  Use your study guide to prepare for tomorrow's test over DNA.

Science:  Students extracted DNA from a strawberry.  Use your study guide to prepare for Wednesday's (Nov. 11th) test over DNA.

Science:  Students did an activity to learn how DNA is used to make proteins.  Use your study guide to prepare for Wednesday's (Nov. 11th) test over DNA.

English: We finished our scope article "The Man Who Saved a Thousand Babies." We finished our vocabulary activities. We started writing a letter about Vivien Thomas. No homework.


Geography:   Today we finished-up World Religion and started on the introduction to Government.  No homework.

HAPPY 1,500TH BLOG!!!!  Team 7-4 has been blogging since October 6, 2006!!!  The first 5 people to wish a happy birthday to the blog (tell Mr. Sanny) get SAN MAN DOLLARS!!

Math:  Students graded 12-6, watched a video and then students had a worksheet to practice for the Formative Assessment, which is tomorrow.  The Week 2 Vocab Activities will be due next TUESDAY, November 10, which is when we will take the spelling quiz over the week 2 words.

Pre-Algebra:   Students reviewed for the Formative Assessment.    We will be taking a FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT over chapter 3 on Tomorrow.  Week 2 Vocab Activities will be due next TUESDAY, November 10, which is when we will take the spelling quiz over the week 2 words.

Science:  Students filled out a study guide and began looking at how DNA is used to make proteins.  Use your study guide to prepare for next Wednesday's test over DNA.

English: We finished our RTT compare and contrast in class. We started vocabulary for a non-fiction story in our Scholastic Scope. No homework.


Geography:   Today we started on notes over the 6 main world religions.  No homework.

Math:  Students went over lesson 12-5 and practiced how to do problems in lesson 12-6.  Complete the homework for tomorrow.  We will be taking a FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT over lessons 2-5 and 12-1 - 12-6 on THURSDAY.  Week 2 Vocab Activities will be due next TUESDAY, November 10, which is when we will take the spelling quiz over the week 2 words.

Math:  Students took a mult fact quiz, finished going over the Solving Equations Quiz and then covered lesson 12-5.  Complete the homework for tomorrow.  We will be taking a FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT over lessons 2-5 and 12-1 - 12-6 on THURSDAY.  Week 2 Vocab Activities will be due next TUESDAY, November 10, which is when we will take the spelling quiz over the week 2 words.

Science:  Students took notes over DNA.  No homework.

English: We finished talking about conflict in Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. Students took a short quiz over RTT. Our RTT packets are due tomorrow, but students should have it done because we did most of it in class. 


Geography:   Today students reviewed with a kahoot.  Homework tonight is to study notes! Quiz over Population and Culture is set for Nov 3rd.
