Math:   Students completed a vocabulary spelling activity, finished lesson 17 and moved into Lesson 18.  No homework.  Students will need their Chromebook 11/22 and 11/25.  The spelling quiz will be this Friday, 11/22.  The assessment test will next Monday, 11/25.

Pre-Algebra:   Students completed a vocabulary spelling activity and then went over lesson 16.  Students will need their Chromebook 11/22 and 11/25.  The spelling quiz will be this Friday, 11/22.  The assessment test will next Monday, 11/25.

Science: Students completed lesson 1.3 from our new Phase Change unit, which focused on macro-scale observations using our eyes versus molecular scale observations using the simulation. The scientific argument for the Rock Transformations unit was due Monday, November 18th. Students CAN come in after school and work with Mrs. Eidem on improving their score on their argument, but the deadline to do so is Monday, November 25th by 4:00 p.m.

English:  We reviewed the research sites on MC website today. Research was continued. Keep working on your A.R. points for the second term.

7th Period English: Utopia partner projects were presented today. ABC writing this week, letter "L". Keep working on A.R.


Geography:  Today students started on a new unit called Africa by working on a political and physical maps. There is a PDF map on Google Classroom to help for work at home. Looking ahead- The maps will be due on Tuesday, November 26th for 50 points.

**Also, just a quick reminder to help your student's charge their chromebooks at home.

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
