Math:   Students went over lesson 16.  Do the problem set.   The test over lessons 10 - 16 will be tomorrow, Tuesday, November 12th.  You will need your chromebook.

Pre-Algebra:   Students moved into lesson 13.  Complete the problem set.    The test over lessons 10 - 15 this Friday, November 15th.  You will need your chromebook.

Science: Students completed lesson 3.4 from our Rock Transformations unit and learned that there is no plate boundary between the Rocky Mountains and Great Plains, which provides evidence for which claim is best supported. The scientific argument for this unit has been assigned as homework on Google Classroom and is due Monday, November 18th. The test over Rock Transformations is planned for Monday, November 18th. To aid in studying, there is a Quizlet on Google Classroom and Lesson 2.5 is a practice test. 

English:  Tests over punctuation were returned. We started working on a Scope story about WWI and carrier pigeons. Keep working on your A.R. points for the second term.

7th Period English: We worked on our research papers information day 7. Your papers due on Friday, November 15th. ABC writing this week, letter "K". A.R. reading points have been assigned for second quarter.

Geography:  Today started on a new unit called Material World. We located the 12 countries using an atlas. Looking ahead- We will be starting Africa after Material World.

**Also, just a quick reminder to help your student's charge their chromebooks at home.

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school:  Go to the website  embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed.  You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson.  The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
