Math: Students took a mult fact quiz, discussed 7-2 a little more and then went over lesson 7-4. Complete the homework for tomorrow. REMINDER: The vocab activities are due tomorrow at the beginning of class and we will the the spelling quiz over those words tomorrow also.
Pre-Algebra: Students took the chapter 4 test. REMINDER: The vocab activities are due tomorrow at the beginning of class and we will the the spelling quiz over those words tomorrow also.
Science: Students in 7th and 9th periods learned their own blood type (if parent permission was granted). Students also watched several videos about the circulatory system while recording facts into their science notebook. Students in 3rd and 6th periods reviewed for Friday's test by playing Jeopardy. Test over the circulatory system tomorrow. A study guide has been handed out.
English: Students read Tuck Everlasting today. We read the Ch. 16 through Ch. 17. Complete the study guide questions for Ch. 16 and 17 IN COMPLETE sentences. Study Guide check is on Friday for Ch. 7-17. I will pick up vocabulary Ch. 7-15. Quiz over Ch. 7-15 on Friday.
Honors English: We are reading Tuck Everlasting today and catching up on study guide and vocab. Students had a study guide check for Ch. 7-15. Quiz over Ch. 7-15 is on Friday and vocabulary is due on Friday.
Geography: Today we continued on the North America Political and Physical maps. Maps are due on Monday, January 26th. Hungry Planet demographics worksheet and note packet are due Friday for 50 points. Ask your student about their progress on Hungry Planet and North America Maps.
