Math: Students went over the tricks to multiply by 11 and by 12. We then went over yesterdays homework and jumped into lesson 12. Complete the problem set for lesson 12 for tomorrow. The assessment over lessons 11 - 15 will be Tuesday, September 24th.
Pre-Algebra: Students took the assessment over lessons 5 - 9. No homework.
Science: Students completed Unit 2 (Plate Motion) Lesson 2.6 - a mid-unit assessment. No homework.
English: Students reviewed action and linking verbs. There is a short assignment on google classroom "Verbs Homework 2 " that is due Tuesday by 4 PM. AR is due October 15th.
7th Period English: Students reviewed action, linking, and helping verbs. There is an assignment on google classroom "Verbs Homework 3" that is due tomorrow by 4 PM. AR is due October 15th. "D" writing is due on Friday, 9/13.
Geography: We took the test over Parts of a Map unit. No homework! The students will need their chromebooks for the rest of the week in geography. Thank you for helping them charge and reminding them to bring the computer to school.

MATH STUDENTS who have missed school: Go to the website embarc (click here or go to Mr. Sanny's website for the link) and navigate to the module and lesson you missed. You can watch a video of someone teaching that lesson. The book they use might be slightly different than ours, but it should be pretty close.
