TODAY: Students took the second half of the MAPs tests today, so we did not have class during 6th and 7th.
Math:
Students did what needed to be done. The Birth
Announcement Project is due FRIDAY for this class.
Pre-Algebra:
Students jumped into the textbook and started lesson 1-1. Complete the homework for tomorrow.
Geography: Continue Parts of a Map Unit-Notes. Map Scale Practice. No homework.
English:
Capitalization Unit. Chapter Review due on Thursday by the end of class. Capitalization test on FRIDAY! Idiom discussion today. Idiom #1 in composition notebook.
Science:
Students looked at their own cheek cells under a microscope, as well as
onion cells (6th & 7th per). Students looked at prepared slides of various tissues to better understand that all living things are made of cells. Meet in the regular classroom for class on Thursday. No homework.
