Math: Students turned in their worksheets and discussed the Holiday Shopping Spree. Students were given a writing assignment to start thinking about who and what they want to purchase with their 500 (fake) dollars. The writing assignment is due Monday.
Pre-Algebra: Students graded lesson 4-1, discussed 4-2 We then discussed the Holiday Shopping Spree. Students were given a writing assignment to start thinking about who and what they want to purchase with their 500 (fake) dollars. The writing assignment is due Monday.
Science: Viewed 2 videos, and did a flu immunity activity.
English: We looked over Expository papers in class. Students do have the opportunity to make corrections to raise their grades. Homework: Four completed boxes from the Think Dots are due Monday. Punctuation quiz on Monday. AR goals are due Friday, December 18th.
Geography: Group work today comparing and contrasting countries that we have studied so far. Students are looking at cultures from different countries and they have to make observations about the differences and similarities. No homework this week!
