Science: Today we took notes on qualities of living things. Come in and get these notes. Thursday and Friday's class is in science lab 113. Your first science current event is due, Wed. September 5th.
Math - Began chapter 1 on Data and Statistics. Discussed frequency tables, line plots, bar graphs, histograms, and line graphs. Do pg. 6 #1,2,5-7, 9,11, 12, and p. 10 #2-9, 13. Don't forget the Birth Announcement project will be due Friday, Aug 31 at the beginning of class.
English - We journaled and practiced making nouns plural. Tonight, complete two of our four reading strategies while reading 20-30 minutes.
GEOGRAPHY: In class- finding road distance and air distance using a Nebraska map. Homework- finding distance using scale on a map of the US.
